Mortal Kombat: Legacy

My buddy pointed out the Mortal Kombat: Legacyweb series couple of weeks ago (thank you Adam!) and they have been well worth it so far; If you still have a favorite character from the old video games and you may/may not still remember a few "finishing" moves; this web series is for you (and over 10 million other people on You Tube).

Series Info: Mortal Kombat: Legacy is a 2011 web series created by Kevin Tancharoen set within the fictional universe of the Mortal Kombat video game franchise. It was originally conceived after Tancharoen submitted his short film entitled Mortal Kombat: Rebirth to Warner Bros. seeking the green light for production on a re-imagined Mortal Kombat film. Warner Bros. refused to back the film, despite the attention and positive fan reception, but Tancharoen did receive the go-ahead to shoot the web series. Mortal Kombat: Legacy takes place before the events of the first game and tells the background stories of several characters from the franchise, culminating in their reasons for participating in the first Mortal Kombat tournament, on which the first game was based. The first episode premiered on April 12, 2011 on Machinima's YouTube channel.  Episodes are being released weekly (every Monday actually), so part 4 should be released any minute now...
