Billboards in New York's SoHo neighborhood are certainly getting people in a lather this week. But unlike that anti-abortion ad, this Gillette board from BBDO New York, featuring Derek Jeter, seems destined to get raves. The ad is being repainted daily through March 6 to reflect the various stages of men's grooming. Jeter will be seen with stubble, then with shave prep, and then clean shaven—a three-day cycle that will be repeated. "Everyday masterpiece," says the copy. Derek will have to raise that .270 average this year, or that tagline could be in jeopardy
